The ARA stands with the Collision Repair Division

crdThe ARA works tirelessly on behalf of its members and divisions to defend and represent their best interest.

The collision division industry can no longer tolerate increase on costs of operation and the ARA has taken position to defend the industry on this case.

As you may be concerned there have been proposed amendments to the Greater Vancouver Regional District Automotive Refinishing Emission Regulation Bylaw No. 1086, 2008 (Bylaw 1086) that could lead to potential increase on the cost of refinishing vehicles material as alerted by the Canadian Paint and Coatings Association (CPCA).

The ARA has sent formal communication to the GVRD stating that this changes can not result on increase of operational costs of the shops and will continue to follow-up with the GVRD and participate actively pursuing the best interest of our members.
