ARA defends its members against unsupported allegations by ICBC Union of over-billing

Approximately a month ago, a news report surfaced stating claims by the union representing ICBC adjusters that collision repair facilities were over-billing ICBC for repairs. A “whistle blower” inside ICBC made the allegations that service providers were padding the bills and adding unnecessary cost.

Earlier this week the ARA held a press conference during which the association defended its members against these unsupported allegations. The reporters listened, and the media tables have turned. The story was carried by newspapers, radio and TV across the province.

The ARA demonstrated that it will come to the defence of its members when threatened. In the following video, ARA President & CEO Ken McCormack explains further:
