Car enthusiasts from all across Canada and the United States are invited to submit the best photo of their vehicle to the Automotive Retailers Association’s third annual Show and Shine contest. Competition entries will be accepted online until August 31, 2021. After the closing date, all submitted photos will be displayed on the website for public voting.
A modified slate of categories is available for selection by contestants, with only one photo upload per entry. The categories for 2021 are the follows:
- Antiques/Vintage,
- Best of Rods,
- Customs,
- Classic and Muscle Cars,
- Trucks,
- Motorcycles,
- “BEST in SHOW” prize sponsored by BASF
The event’s key sponsor, BASF, will select the “Best in Show” winner. All other category winners will be determined by the public voting, with Michael Mason & Co. Ltd. sponsoring the Classic and Muscle Cars category. Winners will be announced during the ARA 2021 virtual AGM, October 7.
While entering the contest is free, a donation to the Automotive Retailers Foundation Inc. (ARFI) is suggested. Funds raised by ARFI go toward scholarships and bursaries for aspiring automotive professionals who need financial assistance to pursue their careers. (No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A donation to ARFI does not increase the chances of winning!)
