The ARA is a conduit for a wealth of information. Sources of information include industry professionals, trainers, government officials, print and electronic media, and even our own members. You never know where that next golden nugget of information is going to come from, so it is very important to be in the loop. Savvy business owners keep themselves informed about industry issues and the latest tools to help them succeed.

ARA members automatically receive information through a number of delivery methods. Our publishing department produces several trade magazines, including the "ARA News" quarterly newsletter, an exclusive publication for members. Late-breaking news is distributed by fax, e-mail, and on our website. Our general and division meetings often feature dynamic guest speakers from whom attendees can learn.

It has been said, "He who has the information has the power," and the ARA sees so many examples of how this is true for the independent automotive industry. It doesn't take long to fall behind when you're in the dark. But how does one keep up? You're already stretched pretty thin just running the day to day operations of your business.
