Potential Canada Post Strike/Lockout

The ARA will strive to keep its members informed of any service disruption.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Canada Post workers may be in a position to strike as of July 2. There is also talk of a potential lockout. During this time, the ARA will do all we that can to communicate with our members should a strike occur. In that event, we will work with our members to try to find alternate solutions for sending and receiving ARA mail, but there may be delays and disruptions that are beyond our control.

In preparation, we suggest that our members ensure that they have as many of their important business letters and parcels as possible sent out in advance of July 2.
