Canada Post Issues 72-Hour Lockout Notice

A possible work disruption could occur as early as Friday.

Canada Post has followed the procedural requirements and issued a 72-hour notice to the union. The issuing of the notice does not necessarily mean that Canada Post will not be operating on Friday. It allows the Corporation to take measures that are necessary to respond to the changing business reality.

The ARA strongly recommends that its members start planning for alternative methods of delivery, and we will continue to provide updates as information becomes available.

More information is available here on the Canada Post website.

Thank you,

The ARA Staff
