CarProof

The ARA administers the CarProof program in British Columbia.

CarProof is a Canadian based used vehicle history reporting service. It provides members with critical used vehicle data from Canada and the U.S. CarProof can help used car dealers fully inform buyers about the true history of the vehicle they are selling.

Types of CarProof reports
A) CarProof Verified BC

This is the most complete and comprehensive vehicle history report available for vehicles that are OR were registered in British Columbia.
It includes all the data from across Canada and the U.S. provided in the regular CarProof Verified report, PLUS all of the data provided in the ICBC vehicle claims history report.
It also provides lien information from every jurisdiction in Canada, as well as accidental claims and coverage information from the private insurance industry in Canada.

B) CarProof Verified

This report provides the same information as the CarProof Verified BC, except it does not include information about accident claims and other data provided in ICBC’s vehicle claims history report in British Columbia.

C) CarProof Claims

This report provides accidental claims and coverage information from the private insurance industry in Canada.
It provides a live registration status check from every jurisdiction in Canada.
It does not include any Canadian lien information.

D) CarProof Liens

This report provides a live registration status check from every jurisdiction in Canada.
It provides a cross Canada search for enforceable liens on the vehicle.
It does not provide accident claims and coverage from the private insurance industry in Canada
